Tony Brian Boatwright

Hortense – Tony Brian Boatwright, 50, of Hortense passed away Thursday morning (May 16, 2019) at his mother’s residence after an extended illness.

Born in Jesup, GA his parents are Emma Jean Branch Boatwright of Hortense and the late Ottis Boatwright.

Tony was a pipe fitter and loved riding his motorcycle and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Boatwright of Hortense; 7 children and their spouses, Tyler & Kali Boatwright of Hortense, Cole Boatwright of Hortense, Daniel Smith of Brunswick, Cody & Jessica Robles of Hortense, Stephanie Smith of Hortense, Whitney Smith of Hortense, and Alex Guy of Waycross; 6 grandchildren, Chloe, Victoria, Harley, Parker, Landon, and Gannon; his mother, Emma Jean Boatwright of Hortense; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean & Jerri Boatwright of Hortense, Timmy & Lisa Boatwright of Brunswick, and Dale & Lynn Boatwright of Hortense; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday (May 20, 2019) from 2pm -3pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Monday afternoon (May 20, 2019) at 3PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Bishop Rob Hutto officiating. Burial will follow in Satilla Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cole Boatwright, Tyler Boatwright, Daniel Smith, Cody Robles, Austin Boatwright, Ethan Boatwright, and Jason Boatwright.
