Hortense – Tony Richard Grace, 54, of Hortense passed away early Saturday morning (March 8, 2025) at his residence after a brief illness.
Born in Jesup, GA his parents were Lewis William Grace, Jr. and Maddie Delaine Mosley Jones.
Tony was an electrician for Glynn County Board of Education and of the Baptist faith. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, watching the Georgia Bulldogs play football and had a big heart when it came to animals. Tony also enjoyed watching YouTube, so he could start up new projects around the house.
Survivors include his wife, Tory Grace of Hortense; 2 sons, Danny Grace (Fiancé, Rebekah King) of Hortense and Logan Himes (Amber) of Hortense; 2 daughters, Cheyenne Collazo (Victor) of TX and Madison Himes of Atkinson; 8 grandchildren, Rayleigh Grace, Presley Grace, Olivia Grace, Gentry Grace, Keaton Kimp, Victor Collazo, Lorenzo Collazo and Coltyn Himes; his brother and sister-in-law, Troy Grace (Dana) of Hortense; an aunt, Lee Roberts of St. Simons; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening (March 11, 2025) from 6pm-8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon (March 12, 2025) at 2pm at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Mallard and Rev. R.J. Driver officiating. Burial will follow in Foster Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J.D. Mason, Chris Pope, Dusty Grace, Victor Anderson, David Mallard, Jay Jones, Danny Grace, Logan Himes, and Ethan Boatright.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
