Waynesville-Viola Elizabeth Stokes Justice, 62, of Waynesville died Tuesday Morning (December 13, 2011) at her residence following an extended illness. Born in Brunswick, GA her parents were George Frank and Barbara Elizabeth Blount Stokes. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ann Scarborough. Viola worked for Big Oaks Restaurant and was a member of Little Memorial Baptist Church. She also loved her dogs, church, family, and friends. Survivors include her husband, Ricky Justice of Waynesville; a son and daughter-in-law, Milton Daniel & Kelly Howe of Brunswick; a grandson, Daniel Thomas Howe; a great grandson, Caleb Thomas Howe; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles Leon Stokes and Rob & Sunshine Stokes both of Waynesville; A close friend, Becky Ann Stokes of Waynesville; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday evening (December 15, 2011) from 6PM-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Friday afternoon (December 16, 2011) at 3PM at Little Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Waynesville. Pallbearers will be Daniel Thomas Howe, Nathan Justice, Chuck Stokes, Christopher Stokes, Rusty Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Chase Stokes and David Justice Jr. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com.
