Virginia Daniels King

Virginia "Lue" Daniels King, 76, of Nahunta died Wednesday evening (July 14, 2010) at her residence after an extended illness. Born in Ward, West Virginia, her parents were James Harold and Edna Virginia Whitley Daniels. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Al" King and 5 brothers, John Estel Daniels, Jack Daniels, Harold Ray Daniels, Donald Cody Daniels and James Kenneth Daniels. Lue was a self-employed upholster and of the Methodist faith. Also she enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Waycross USBC . Survivors include her four children and their spouses, James Allen & Mary King of Anchorage, Alaska, Kenneth King , Barbara & Jim Bowles both of Zion, Illinois and Judy and Tom Dowling of Nahunta, GA; a sister and brother-in-law, Lois Kay & Rayburn Skeen of Middleburg, FL; 11 grandchildren, April Bratcher, Chad Duke, Dawn Haynes, Tonya Bagley, Christine King, Chrystal Morton, Lisa Coliflower, Michael King, Chanda Bowles, Beth Bowles and Tim Grantham; 16 great grandchildren, Colton, Devon, Bryce, Allie, Shelby, Brianna, Aspen, Alexis, Makayla, Gini, Noah, Issabel, Issac, Illa Rose, Bishop and Kayden; also a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends. Memorialization will be by cremation. In lieu of services, Virginia requested that there be a friends and family gathering on August 14, 2010 starting at 10:00AM- Until at her residence, 560 Longlake Rd Nahunta, GA 31553. Also in lieu of flowers, Virginia "Lue" has requested that donations be made to the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department, Attn: Melvin Tennyson P.O. Box 1440 California, MD 20619-1440 and Heartland Hospice, 122 Scranton Connector Brunswick, GA 31525. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
