Wade Royce Holton

Hortense – Wade Royce Holton, 56, of Hortense passed away Wednesday morning (February 12, 2020) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Dinsmore, FL his parents were Royce Carson Holton and Isabelle Americus Dixon Murkerson. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Omergene Watson Holton.

Wade was a carpenter and loved woodworking, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Candice Thomason of Hortense; his twin daughters, Ashli Mae Holton and April J. Holton of Hortense; several step children; several grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Lynn & Michael Brantley of Hortense; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Raymond & Linda Holton of Yulee, FL and Roger Holton of Hortense; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held Sunday (February 23, 2020) at 11am at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service on Sunday (February 23, 2020) starting at 10:30am.
