Hortense – Wallace Edgar King, Jr., 60, of Hortense passed away Monday night (December 19, 2016) at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Ormond Beach, FL his parents are Bernice Howard King and the late Wallace King. He is also preceded in death by a brother, J.C. King; 2 uncles, Donald King and Leonard King, Jr.; and a cousin, Lenny King.
Wallace was the owner of King’s Truck and Trailer repair, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his newly adopted children, and his family.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy King of Hortense; 2 sons, Kaysen King and Richie King of Hortense; 2 daughters, Ashlyn King of Hortense and Candace Clark of Brunswick; his mother, Bernice King of Nahunta; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jaime & Letha Klatt; Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David & Kristie Klatt; sister-in-law, Melinda Daughtry; nieces and nephew, Sierra Daughtry, Anita Klatt, and Tony Klatt; 2 sisters, Brenda and Shirley of Brantley; aunt, Joy King of Florida; 3 cousins, Ronda & Larry Harris, Renee & Larry Delk, and Donald & Debbie King, Jr. all of Florida; a close friend, Gregory May; and also several other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made toward funeral expenses and the family.
