Wanda Annette Tracey

Mrs. Wanda Annette Smith Tracey, 96, of Patterson, GA died Wednesday (Nov. 25, 2009) at BayView Nursing Home, Nahunta following a lengthy illness. Born in Huntington, Indiana, her parents were Fred and Beatrice Weaver Smith. She retired in 1978 at the age of 65 as a Registered Nurse from Mease Hospital in Dunedin, FL. She received her Degree from Notre Dame and then went on to complete nursing school. Mrs. Tracey was a Champion swimmer, she enjoyed playing golf and playing the organ. She attended Philadelphian Wesleyan "Sawgrass" Church in Hortense. She is survived by her Son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Marsha Tracey of Elkview, WV; a Daughter and son-in-law, C.J. and Kathy Gallops, of Brantley County; 4- Grandchildren, Kevin D. Freel of Tampa, FL; Christopher A. and Kimberly Kirchoff of Waynesville; Jason and Tracy Tracey and Justin Tracey of Elkview, WV; Great grandchildren, Cody, Nathan and Zane Kirchoff; a Step-brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Donna Covey of Huntington IN, a niece, Wanda Shoudel of Fort Wayne, IN. Memorialization will be by cremation. A Memorial service to be held at a later date from the Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com
