Wanda 'Diane' Allen Griffin

Bachlott - Wanda "Diane" Allen Griffin, 61, of Bachlott died Thursday evening (September 17, 2015) at Southeast Georgia Health System after an extended illness. Born in Ludowicci, GA her parents were Rev. Lester "L.C." and Aline Dyal Allen. She is also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Charles Allen, Larry J. Allen and David Michael Allen. Diane was a homemaker and a member of Youngs Island Community Church of God in McIntosh where she was the secretary for 35 years. She loved spending time with her family and being a grandma to her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Joe "Jody" Griffin of Bachlott; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeffrey L. Griffin and Carl & April Griffin all of Bachlott; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry & Ausencio Rebollo of Bachlott; 6 grandchildren, Jeffrey Griffin , Jr, Emily Griffin, Andrew Rebollo, Alex Rebollo, Little Jody Griffin, J.C. Griffin and one on the way; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Elizabeth & Lamar Crews of Riverside community and Dora Allen of Hickox; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday (September 20, 2015) from 2pm-3pm at Bachlott Community Church. A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (September 20, 2015) at 3pm at Bachlott Community Church with Rev. Jason Marden, Rev. Chuck Allen and Rev, Ion Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Bachlott Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ausencio Rebollo, David White, Chris Allen, Dustin Allen, J.E. Carter, Jarrett Knox, Michael Flowers, and Tom Thomas.
