Wannell Keene Wright

Wannell Keene Williams Wright, 84 of Brunswick GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday Morning (May 10, 2009) at BayView Nursing Home with her children by her side. Mrs. Wright was the daughter of Oscar Alex Keene and Sara "Kate" Parrott Keene and grew up in Brantley County with her seven siblings, all who have gone on before her. She later moved to Brunswick where she lived and raised her family. She was married to Samuel Bruce Wright, until his passing. Mrs. Wright was a housewife and she loved gardening, cooking and quilting, as well as spending lots of time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Wright was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Wright is survived by her children; Mickey Williams; Kathy Franklin-Beaver; Bonnie W. Browning (Mike); Ben Mosley (MaDonna); Sam Wright (Lynn) all of Brunswick; and her grandchildren, Sherry F. Pender, Chasity Mosley, Josh Williams, Matt Williams, Michael Browning; and five Great grandchildren of Brunswick. Visitation will be held at Frye Funeral Home, Wednesday (May 13, 2009) at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Frye Funeral Home Chapel, Nahunta at 11 a.m. with Pastor Randy Carson of the First Baptist Church of Nahunta officiating. Burial will be at Smyrna Cemetery along-side her mother and father, grandparents, siblings and ancestors, all who were original founders/members of the Smyrna Primitive Baptist church. Pallbearers will be James Beaver, Adam Howard, Josh Williams, Matt Williams, Michael Browning and Aaron Pender. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com
