William Eugene Crews

Folkston – William “Bubba” Eugene Crews, 33, of Folkston passed away Tuesday morning (October 3, 2023).

He was born in Waycross, GA on  January 7, 1990 to Bobby & Sheryl Crews. He is preceded in death by his birthmother, Sheryl Lemuz; his paternal grandparents, Irene Moody Drury and Bill Crews; his maternal grandparents, Dianne Griffin and Ray Griffin; 3 uncles, Larry Crews, Jerry Crews and John Drury, II; and 2 aunts, Kara Lynn Lewis and Mary Morgan.

Bubba as he was known to many, was a millwright for West Rock Papermill and a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church. He loved the country life, fishing, hunting and riding dirt roads. Bubba was a good friend to many with a heart of gold.

Survivors include his loving wife, Christina Crews of Folkston; 3 beautiful children, Kyle Hunter Crews, Satilla Alanie Crews and Dawson Elliot Crews all of Folkston; his parents, Bobby & Patricia Crews of Hickox; his siblings, Jennifer Batten (Randy) of Hickox, Raymond Wildes (Jessica), of Raybon, Angie Crews (Chris) of Hickox and Jeffrey Wildes (Kristin) of Raybon; his stepfather, Matias Lemuz of Folkston; and also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Friday evening (October 6, 2023) starting at 5pm at the residence of Bobby & Patricia Crews, 292 Lime Rock Rd Nahunta, GA 31553.

A graveside service will be held Saturday morning (October 7, 2023) at 11am at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Wainright and Rev. Cliff Adams officiating.

Pallbearers will be Matias Lemuz, Seth Prescott, Derek Johnson, Willis Barnes, John Drury, III, Lance Lewis and Zach Johns.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
