William Daniel Haynes

William Daniel "Danny" Haynes, 55, of Nahunta, GA died Thursday afternoon (Oct. 22, 2009) at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Brantley Co., GA, his parents were William Frank and Minnie Riggins Haynes. He is also, preceded in death by his brother, Frank Hickox and a sister, Trisha Gurley. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Heavy equipment operator. He loved fishing and hunting and was of the Church of God faith. He is survived by his wife, Kathy McCarty Haynes of Nahunta; a Daughter, Marsha Swain of Waycross, GA; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, William and Denise Haynes and Jockco and Ashlee Haynes both of Nahunta; 9 Grandchildren, Jessica Poole, Cody Sweat, Katelyn Haynes, William Haynes, Madison Haynes, Adreanna Haynes, Abby Haynes, Karson Haynes and Tiffany Dryden; 3 Great Grandchildren, Kyler Poole, M. J. Haynes and Kyler Chaffin; also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Friday evening (October 23, 2009) at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon (October 24, 2009) at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta with Rev. Charles Florey and Rev. Tommy Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Rob Lewis Cemetery, Raybon Pallbearers will be Jockco Haynes, Troy Hickox, Chris Hickox, Stephen Blount, Kenny Byrd, Troy Walker and Dewayne Walker.
