William "Papa Flish" Edward Sestito, 63, of Nahunta died Sunday night (January 24, 2010) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Fairmont, WV his parents are the late William Sestito and Dixie Wainwright Sestito of Pembroke Pines, FL . Also he is preceded in death by a sister, Raffelina Heath. He was a director of transportation for the Mt. Sinia Hospital in Miami Beach, FL until he moved to Brantley County. William was very hospitable to everyone and loved his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and cooking. Survivors include 4 children and their spouses, Beth & Edward Feigenblatt of High Springs, FL, Denise & Mike Vonderstrasse of Morriston, FL, B.J. & Mary Sestito of Williston, FL and Joshua & Anna Sestito of Pembroke Pines, FL; 8 grandchildren, Chris Feigenblatt, Nick Feigenblatt, Jonny Feigenblatt, Dalton Vonderstrasse, Maci Vonderstrasse, Kristina Anaya, Karina Zografakis and Braden Major; a brother and sister-in-law, Tommy & Sarah Sestito of Plantation, FL; his ex-wife, Beverly Schiaffo of Williston, FL; and also other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon (January 30, 2010) starting one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held Saturday starting at 3PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with Elder Johnny Lee officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
