William Sherrod Farrill

Nahunta – William Sherrod Farrill, 53, of Nahunta passed away Wednesday (October 2, 2024) at Dodge County Hospital in Eastman after a brief illness.

Born in Homerville, GA his parents were James William Farrill, Jr. and Hazel Chesser Farrill. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy “Little” Farrill; Maternal grandparents, John & Lillie Mae Chesser; and his paternal grandparents, James William Farrill, Sr. and Velva Leen Pietty Herrin Farrill.

William went to Southside Baptist Christian School in Waycross and graduated with the Class of 1989 and was a member of Ivory Palace. He loved the Lord and his family with all his heart. William enjoyed listening to music, playing pool, reading the Bible and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and he always told others how much Jesus loved them.

Survivors include several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Monday morning (October 7, 2024) from 10:30am-11am at Oakgrove Cemetery.

A graveside service will be held Monday morning (October 7, 2024) at 11am at Oakgrove Cemetery with Rev. Trey Keene officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
