William Joseph Harris

William Joseph Harris, 64, of St. Mary's, GA died suddenly at his residence. Born in Nahunta, GA, his parents were Joseph Even and Annie Lou Lane Harris. He is also preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Conny and Bobby Harris, and a sister, Peggy Harris O'Quinn. He served in the U.S. Army and worked with Gilman Paper Company as a Log Loader Operator. He is survived by his 2 Children and a son-in-law, A.J. Harris of Warner Robin, GA and Cecila and Gary Adamson of Dodudley, GA; 5 Grandchildren, Michalla and Garron Adamson; Sierra, Aryan and Halie Harris; a Sister and brother-in-law, Billie Sue and Henry Hillebrants of Nahunta; a brother, Wayne Harris of Nahunta; also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Tuesday evening starting at 6 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Minister W.C. Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Rob Lewis Cemetery, Raybon. Pallbearers will be Buck Davis, Hubert Lane, Billy Joe Davis, Steve Lane, Benny Ray Harris, Jimmy Lane, Tommy Lane and Jack Lane.
