William Clarke Norton

Brunswick – Mr. William Clarke Norton, 84, of Brunswick passed away Saturday (February 15, 2025) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, GA his parents were William Townsend Norton and Helen Wilma Clarke Norton.

William retired after 24 years of service with the United States Air Force as Chief Master Sargeant. He loved his family, his puppy, Blacky, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Carter Norton of Brunswick; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Carter (Jennifer) of Waynesville; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Daniels (Billy Jeff, Jr.) of Waverly; 6 grandchildren, Courtney Hope, Dillion Daniels, Dystanee Daniels, Emily Carter, Mackenzie Carter and Donathan Cox; several great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie Norton (Beth) of Atlanta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 1PM-3PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
