William Brewer Reynolds

Nahunta – William Brewer Reynolds, 82, of Nahunta passed away Monday (February 3, 2025) at Memorial Satilla Health after an extended illness.

Born in Baxley, GA he was one of the eleven children of the late Tommie Reynolds and Beatrice Long Reynolds. He is also preceded in death by a son, Robert Reynolds; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.

William was a farmer and worked many years as a diesel mechanic He was a member of Nahunta First Baptist Church and Teamsters Local 512. Williams loved spending time with his family, going fishing and bird watching.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Reynolds of Nahunta; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, George Reynolds of Nahunta and Roy Reynolds (Rachael) of Folkston; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Truman Reynolds and Donnie Reynolds of Vidalia; 3 sisters and a brother-in-law, Jean Horne of Orange Park, FL, Barbara Ann (Steve) of North Augusta, SC and Patricia of CA; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening (February 6, 2025) from 6pm – 8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Friday afternoon (February 7, 2025) at 2pm at Nahunta First Baptist Church with Rev. Jake Baum officiating. Burial will follow in Oakgrove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Reynolds, Roy Reynolds, George Salais, William A. Reynolds, Troy Everett, Brandon Tennison and Ricky Holbrook. Honorary pallbearers will be Cuyler Reynolds, Robert Reynolds and Dana Peters.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
