Folkston-Mr. Willie Constant Johns, 85, of Folkston died Sunday (November 6, 2011) at the Hospice of Golden Isles following an extended illness. Born in Woodbine, GA, his parents were Dave and Isabelle Ryals Johns. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers; Calvin "Shorty" Johns, and Raymond Johns, and 2 Sisters; Eria Blanton, and Bertha Humphrey. Willie worked in the pulpwood industry for many years. He was a member of Winoker Baptist Church, and he loved to fish. Survivors include his wife , Mildred Johns of 55 yrs.,3 Sons and daughter-in-laws; Jerry (Debbie) Parker, Jeffery (Darlene)Johns, both of Folkston, John Willie (Ginger) Johns of Hortense, 2 daughters and a son-in-law; Dorothy Bean, Edna (Richard) Davis, both of Jacksonville, FL of Florida, 5 grandchildren; Amy & Jeffery Martin, of Hammond, Louisiana, Brandi & Richie Manning, of Folkston, Kevin & Mandi Bean of Virginia, Eric & Jackie Johns of Ft. Meyers, FL, James & Jackie Keen of Waynesville,., 8 Great Grand Children; Kyle, Skyler, Isabelle, Marley, and Whitney Bean, Maddison and Kaylyn Manning, and Lylah Fitzgerald. 2 Sister-in-Laws; Betty Mae Johns of Nahunta, Nancy Hodges of Hilliard, FL.,and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening (November 8, 2011) starting at 6 PM at the Riverside Chapel Baptist Church, Hickox. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning (November 9, 2011) at 11 AM at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainright, Rev. E.C. Crews, and Rev. Reggie Herrin officiating. Burial will follow at Corrinth Cemetery, Charlton Co. Pallbearers will be Alan Hodges, Ronnie Hodges, Bryan McInvale, and Keith McInvale. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
