Willoughby Eugene Williams

Nahunta-Mr. Willoughby Eugene Williams, 65, of Nahunta died early Wednesday morning (November 16, 2011) at his residence after an extended illness. Born in Woodbine, GA., his parents were Mathie Franklin and Myrtle Harris Williams. He is also preceded in death by 6 brothers, Wallace, Lonnie, Dan, Roscoe, Wilbur, & Bob Williams; & his 2 sisters, Gloria Ann Williams, & Delores O'Berry. Willoughby worked as a construction worker for Goodman Maintenance and served in the United States Army. Survivors include 2 sons, Kevin Williams & Dustin Williams of Nahunta; 1 daughter & a son-in-law, Kimberly & Andy Lawrence of Wyoming; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Donald Williams & Ronald & Brenda Williams both of Nahunta; 3 sisters and their spouses, Yvonnie & C.B. Wainright of Nahunta, June Carol & Marvin Snowden of Folkston, & Rosella & Leroy Pittman of Callahan, FL; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (November 18, 2011) starting at 6 PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon (November 19, 2011) at 2 PM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. E. C. Crews & Rev. Jimmy R. Mathis, Sr.officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery, Charlton Co., GA. Pallbearers will be Mack Williams, Phil O'Berry, Scott Lambert, Daniel Williams, Tristen Williams, Joey Lake, & Robbie O'Berry.
