Wilma Darlene Johns

Nahunta – Ms. Wilma “Darlene” Willis Johns, 63, of Nahunta passed away Monday (November 8, 2021) at her daughter’s residence after an extended illness.

Born in Nahunta, GA her parents were James Edward Willis and Elma Lewis Willis. She is also proceeded in death by 2 brothers, Julian Willis and Thomas "Tommy" Willis; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Willis.

Darlene attended the Raybon Advent Church and worked as a CNA with Southeast GA Health System. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and cooking.

Survivors include: her son Devin Johns and a daughter and son-in-law, Jonie Raulerson (Browning) all of Nahunta; 6 grandchildren Emma, Ella, Dennis, Ashton, Bladen, and Jacelynn; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, J.B. Willis (Mabel) of Browntown, Gary Willis, Virgil Willis, and Travis Willis (Lynn) all of Nahunta; 2 sisters Eliza “Beth” Thomas and Ivalyn Willis both of Nahunta; 2 sisters-in-law, Diane Willis and Ila Waters, both of Nahunta. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening (November 11, 2021) from 6pm – 8pm at Frye Funeral Home Chapel.

A funeral service will be held Friday afternoon (November 12, 2021) at 2 PM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Herrin officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Willis, Austin Lake, Dustin Thomas, Brock Willis, Brian Thornton, Billy Willis, and Josh Willis.
Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
