Wilmer Turner

Nahunta- Mr. Wilmer Bernice "Tom" Turner, 90 of Nahunta, died late Tuesday night (May 15, 2012) at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Toombs County, his parents were Mel and Mary Durden Turner. Tom was a self-employed roofer and house mover; he was of the Methodist Faith. Tom loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. Survivors include a special friend, Iris Lake, of Nahunta. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday evening (May 17, 2012) starting at 6PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Friday morning (May 18, 2012) at 11AM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta with Rev. Hilton Morgan officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Wainright, Bailey Wainright, Art Keene, Trey Keene, Rocky Carter, Chris Miller, Preston Miller, and Gary Edholme. Burial will follow in Palmetto Cemetery, Brunswick.
