Zoie Lee Meadows

Folkston - Zoie Jane "Lee" Meadows of Folkston, died late Monday (July 16, 2012) evening after an extended illness at the Baptist Village Nursing Home in Waycross. Zoie was born in Hoboken, GA., and the daughter of the late Raymond Washington & Mary Hickox Lee. She is also preceded in death by her husband Fred Meadows; a daughter, Cheryl Osburn; and a sister, Vannie Crews. She was a member of the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church and worked at the Barnette Bank as a Comptroller until she retired. She loved to fish and go to church. Survivors include; a daughter, Aundra Stephens of Hoboken; 6 Grandchildren, Chad Cooner & Chelley Olson both of TN, Tara Roach (Rick) of New Bern, N.C., Greg Stephens & Melynda Wilson both of Jacksonville, FL., Tiffany Albritton (Lamar) of Folkston; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 1 brother, Jerome Lee of Birmingham, AL.; 3 sisters, Mary Wainright of Bachlott, Susie Simms (Wiley)of Marrieta, Hazel Justice (Walter) of Waycross.; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be Wednesday (July 18, 2012) at 6 PM at the Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA. A funeral service will be held Thursday (July 19, 2012) at 11 AM at the Highbluff Primitive Baptist Church, Hoboken, with Elder Freddie Thomas & Elder Daniel Drawdy officiating. Burial will follow in the Highbluff Cemetery, Hoboken. Pallbearers will be Greg Stephens, Aaron Roach, Ryan Almond, James Roach, Sidney Lee, Justin Albritton, Greg Lee, Dorian Wilson, & Chad Cooner.
